Project Documentation & Vision

Documenting the extensive campus and hostel landscaping project for The Modern School, Panipat, designed by visionary architects Yashica Mangla and Kapil Mangla of Earth Worth Design Lab, was an immersive journey into ecological integration and institutional architecture. Conceived to harmonize modern campus infrastructure with sustainable environmental design, the project focuses heavily on green enhancement around the hostel block through systematic fruit tree plantations and lush landscape planning.

The carefully curated greenery does far more than provide visual elegance; it promotes ecological balance, offering heavy natural shade, fresh air, and an organic connection to nature. By blending modern architectural built forms with vibrant, living landscapes, the campus fosters a serene, enriching, and holistic environment where students can thrive, learn, and experience well-being.

The Orange Images Photography USP & Execution Strategy (Intensive 12+ Hour Sunrise-to-Blue-Hour Workflow)

Aligning with our Master Project SOP, our execution strategy for The Modern School, Panipat, was structured around an intensive, 12+ hour on-site production window to capture the entire daily arc of natural and atmospheric lighting:

• Extended 12+ Hour Field Duration (5:30 AM to 7:00 PM): Dedicating an entire day—from dawn till after dusk—allowed us to completely document the expansive campus architecture and landscaping through dynamic shifting sun angles.

• Sunrise Shot Capture (5:30 AM First Light): Commencing at dawn enabled us to capture crisp, early-morning sunrise lighting breaking across the hostel grounds, dew-kissed lawns, and fresh fruit tree plantations.

• Midday Institutional & Exterior Documentation: Utilizing broad daylight to showcase the clear geometric relationship between the modern school infrastructure and the surrounding greenery, courtyards, and open pathways.

• Sunset & Blue Hour Finale (7:00 PM Wrap-up): Concluding the shoot during twilight and blue hour allowed us to capture dramatic exterior architectural frames where warm interior and campus accent lighting contrast against the deep evening sky.

• Design Justification through Lighting: Tracking the sun from sunrise to blue hour ensured that the structural layout, shaded pathways, and fruit tree alignments were presented with maximum depth and spatial dimension.

To ensure the portfolio visuals for The Modern School, Panipat, stand out online and redefine institutional architecture photography, we utilized targeted photographic strategies:

• Capturing Full Day-to-Night Atmospheric Transitions: Showcasing how the campus transforms from pristine morning freshness to dramatic, warmly lit blue-hour architectural elegance.

• Highlighting Sustainable Green Infrastructure: Utilizing wide-angle exterior framing to emphasize how fruit tree plantations and boundary landscaping envelop the modern hostel buildings.

• Balancing Architecture and Landscape Harmony: Framing shots to ensure both the physical structures and the living, breathing environment are given equal weight, conveying a complete narrative of holistic student spaces.
