Project Documentation & Vision

Documenting the three-storied personal residence of multidisciplinary architects and interior designers Yashica Mangla and Kapil Mangla, founders of Earth Worth Design Lab, was an exercise in capturing a living showcase of diverse design genres. As their own home, this project reflects a deep commitment to thoughtful design, meticulous planning, and heartfelt creativity. Each of the three floors embodies a distinct theme, seamlessly blending modern and traditional aesthetics while exploring diverse interior genres such as traditional maximalism, minimalist chic, and bohemian palettes.

The exterior features a striking combination of open and closed spaces, utilizing cobalt stone, exposed brick, and Gwalior-Jaiselmer details. A twisted column anchors the facade, uniting ornamentation and structure, while CNC and basalt stone cladding, a slider gate, and lush landscaping highlight hand-cut artworks by local artisans. Inside, the design transitions fluidly: the drawing room is executed in a rich, traditional maximalistic style; the master bedroom embraces a minimalist and chic aesthetic; and another bedroom incorporates minimalist styling with boho pallets. Every corner serves as a living portfolio of the architects’ versatile design philosophy.

The Orange Images Photography USP & Execution Strategy

At Orange Images Photography, our unique selling proposition (USP) in architectural and interior photography goes beyond standard documentation. For Earth Worth Home, our approach was built on meticulous time investment and dual-lighting narrative execution:

  • Extended Detail-Oriented Execution: We dedicated an extensive number of hours on-site to capture every intricate texture, customized finish, and multi-genre transition carefully curated across the three floors by Yashica and Kapil Mangla.

  • Morning Natural Light Integration (Spatial Scale & Volume): We deliberately schedule and capture morning looks on-site to showcase how natural daylight floods the multi-themed living spaces. Morning photography allows us to visually emphasize the true volume, openness, and architectural depth of the residence.

  • Evening Lighting Transition (Atmospheric Depth & Design Justification): We specialize in capturing evening aesthetics by masterfully blending warm interior accent lighting with natural twilight blue sky tones. This technique allows interior designers to fully justify their lighting artistry, providing a dramatic, high-end contrast across the exposed brick facade and exterior stone cladding that daytime photography cannot achieve.

  • Proportional Spatial Realism: Our framing is intentionally calibrated to highlight custom architectural scaling—showcasing how structural elements, structural columns, and diverse styling genres achieve total harmony without visual clutter.

Making the Images Impactful

To make the visuals for Earth Worth Home stand out and rank well online, we utilized tailored strategies for multi-genre residential architecture:

  • Mastering Day-to-Night Transitions: Leveraging bright morning illumination to emphasize spatial clarity and exterior facade details, followed by dramatic evening compositions balancing warm interior accents against dusk skies, gave the portfolio a rich visual depth.

  • Highlighting Diverse Interior Genres: Using precise framing to capture the distinct character of each room—from the ornate, traditional maximalism of the drawing room and the minimalist chic of the master bedroom to the boho-palleted minimalist bedroom.

  • Emphasizing Material Integrity & Craftsmanship: Close-up and medium-wide angles focused on the raw textures of the exposed brick, cobalt stone, Gwalior-Jaiselmer details, and hand-cut artisanal stonework.
