Documenting the seasonal export campaign for RKB Textile (Rituraj Textiles) was an extraordinary exercise in high-end commercial product photography, textural contrast, and luxury styling. Under the leadership of Raviraj Baijal, Rituraj Textiles carries a legacy spanning over five decades in manufacturing and exporting premium home furnishings, including handcrafted cushion covers, rugs, throws, and luxury towels for international markets.

This extensive commercial shoot captured a diverse range of 100 export SKUs, meticulously styled by Vaishali Thapa, founder of Kalp Vriksha. Serving as both product designer and lead stylist, Vaishali brought an intimate structural understanding of the collection’s thread work, embroidery techniques, and material compositions. The products were systematically categorized and shot across two contrasting environments: a high-end luxury apartment at Godrej Commonwealth Village near Akshardham and the brand’s raw manufacturing facility.

Dual-Environment Concept & Creative Background Textures

What sets this campaign apart is the uninhibited creative experimentation with raw, organic backdrops and bespoke lighting setups. The visual narrative transitions seamlessly between refined luxury interiors and industrial, earthen textures:

• Luxury Residential Staging (Commonwealth Games Village): To portray high-end residential living, cushions were arranged into cohesive sets based on style, weave, and thread work. We leveraged diverse mood lighting conditions across the apartment:

  • 4 PM Golden Hour Light: Capturing warm, sweeping directional sunlight that highlighted delicate surface textures and intricate embroidery.

  • Large Window Light Interplay: Utilizing soft, single-sided natural light streaming through expansive windows to cast subtle gradients and define geometric contours.

  • Cozy Evening Bedroom Setups: Crafting an intimate, warm ambient setting that emphasized comfort, plush softness, and tactile luxury.

• Raw Industrial & Earthen Texture Experiments (Factory Shoot): At the production facility, we embraced rustic, tactile backdrops to accentuate the raw craftsmanship behind each piece:

  • Weathered Wooden Logs: Served as a stark, organic backdrop for black-and-white swatch collections and monochrome cushion designs.

  • Exposed Brick Walls & Rusted Metal Doors: Provided a rugged, industrial contrast that made vibrant pink and blue luxury towels pop with rich color saturation.

  • Vintage Bed Frame & Yarn Roll Composition: In the factory, a distressed wooden bed frame was creatively styled alongside large, colorful thread rolls against a bold blue factory wall, creating a regal backdrop for draped luxury throws and rugs.

The Orange Images Technical USP & Lighting Mastery

Capturing home textiles requires precise control over highlights, shadows, and fabric grain. Orange Images Photography executed a multi-faceted approach to justify the design details of all 100 SKUs:

• Fabric Texture & Thread Work Definition: High-definition micro-contrast was preserved to showcase fine thread work, tufting, and material weaves without washing out subtle pattern variations.

• Dynamic Color Fidelity: Whether capturing muted monochrome swatches or vibrant towel hues against blue factory walls and rusted doors, precise color balance was maintained across all mood lighting variations.

• Creative Freedom & Visual Impact: By combining natural daylight, ambient warm tones, and industrial backdrops, we delivered a dynamic visual catalog designed to drive global market expansion for RKB Textile.
