Documenting the exclusive Kapoor Lamps Product Display Gallery in Ghitorni, Delhi, was a masterclass assignment in luxury lighting photography, ambient staging, and handcrafted design documentation. Kapoor Lamps is globally renowned for its exquisite, handcrafted luxury lighting solutions that seamlessly blend fine artistry with functional illumination. Their portfolio encompasses statement chandeliers, wall lights, table lamps, sculptural pendant lights, and durable outdoor lanterns designed to elevate both residential and commercial interior spaces.

Executed in close collaboration with senior home decor stylist Vaishali Thapa from Kalp Vriksha, this shoot was curated through distinct, themed interior setups. Every lamp and fixture was paired with custom wall textures and tailored color schemes chosen specifically to complement the lamp base materials—ranging from polished metals, ceramics, and glass to intricate shade colors.

Capturing luxury lighting fixtures requires far more than standard product photography; it demands a delicate balance between active light emission and ambient spatial photography. Orange Images Photography implemented a precise, multi-layered lighting strategy across the Ghitorni showroom:

• Warm Cozy Ambiance Staging: In residential setups—such as a curated bedroom setting—the warm, golden light of the lamps was calibrated to overpower cool ambient tones, casting a soft, inviting glow across surrounding textures and plush soft furnishings.

• Natural Window Light Interplay & Silhouette Sculpting: In select compositions, our team skillfully blended the lamp’s warm interior illumination with direct natural daylight streaming in from large gallery windows. This dual-light interaction created striking highlights, rim lights, and sculpted silhouette edges that emphasized the lamp’s unique structural geometry.

• Harmonizing Fixture Materials with Background Textures: Working alongside Kalp Vriksha’s styling vision, camera angles were set to highlight the subtle grain, sheen, and tactile depth of wall textures chosen specifically for each lamp shade and base material.

• Highlighting Spatial Harmony across Lighting Categories: From grand statement chandeliers and sculptural pendant lights to functional wall fixtures, table lamps, and outdoor lanterns, every shot was framed to capture both macro product craftsmanship and the broader interior context.

Making the Images Impactful

• Accurate Color Temperature Control: By managing exposure to handle high-brightness light bulbs alongside dark ambient corners, we preserved full highlight detail in lamp shades while maintaining rich, noise-free shadow detail.

• Bespoke Product Vignettes: Every composition tells a story of refined living, showing prospective clients, interior designers, and architects exactly how Kapoor Lamps’ creations transform spaces.

• Texture & Finish Enhancement: Close-up lens work highlights the intricate handiwork, metal finishes, glass clarity, and textile weaves of the lamp shades.
