Client / Developer: ReNew Power
Project Type: Large-Scale Renewable Energy Infrastructure & Wind Farm (57 Wind Turbines)
Location: Ellutala, Andhra Pradesh
Photography & Visual Documentation: Orange Images Photography
Documenting the massive 57-turbine wind farm for ReNew Power in Ellutala, Andhra Pradesh, marked a landmark assignment in hardcore industrial and renewable energy photography. Operating as a critical cornerstone of India’s clean energy transition, the Ellutala site demanded an uncompromising technical approach to capture massive engineering scale, structural dominance, and environmental integration across a vast landscape.
Our operational execution began at 4:00 AM in pitch-dark field conditions. As dawn broke over the site, the gradual illumination revealed the true colossal scale and engineering grandeur of the wind turbine towers. This pre-dawn-to-daylight progression allowed us to capture a breathtaking sequence of natural atmospheric lighting—transitioning from deep morning magenta and twilight blues to vibrant golden-yellow sunrise tones across the sky.
Pre-Dawn & Twilight Atmospheric Mastery: Utilizing specialized low-light handling and long-exposure techniques to capture the dramatic shift of natural sky colors (magenta, blue, and golden yellow) against massive silhouetted industrial silhouettes.
Conveying Colossal Structural Scale: Employing strategic wide-angle and vertical perspective alignment to emphasize the true physical mass, height, and sweep of the giant wind turbines in a remote, expansive terrain.
Engineering Reliability & Environmental Harmony: Documenting the rigorous structural integrity of the heavy-duty tower bases, nacelles, and massive rotor blades, framing them to showcase the synergy between advanced green technology and natural geography.
