Client / Occupant: LowKy (BYOD Creator Studio)
Project Type: Commercial Interior & Workspace Documentation
Photography & Spatial Styling: Orange Images Photography
LowKy is an innovative, ultra-luxurious BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) studio designed as an open playground for content creators. The space caters to professionals and podcasters who need a high-end environment to record interviews and shows without investing in their own permanent real estate. The studio features a highly designed, sophisticated aesthetic distributed across three major functional setups and nine sub-zones, providing a premium visual backdrop for any creative project.
At Orange Images Photography, our unique selling proposition (USP) in architectural and interior photography centers on our ability to bridge design aesthetics with spatial realism. For the LowKy project, our execution went beyond standard documentation and involved hands-on space designing and technical lighting correction:
Lighting Redesign & Diffusion: Upon arriving on set, we identified that the existing downlighters were casting harsh, hard shadows that disrupted the studio’s luxurious aesthetic. We actively redesigned the lighting environment by diffusing the harsh lights with soft butter paper, creating a flattering, global illumination. We then meticulously redirected the light beams to properly highlight the intended architectural and furniture focal points.
Space Designing & Spatial Flow: We don’t just shoot empty rooms; we capture how light, materials, and spatial flow interact. To ensure the spaces translated perfectly on camera, we guided the floor plan by placing appropriate drops, centralizing the furniture, and establishing equal, symmetrical distancing between all seating arrangements.
Multi-Zone Framing: We methodically documented the studio’s three distinct recording setups:
A two-seater podcast arrangement featuring rust-colored sofas and rugs contrasted with curated white props.
An intimate single-seater sofa setup framed against a beautiful, highly detailed background.
A spacious three-seater (1+2) interview zone anchored by a luxurious gray and golden background.
To maximize the studio’s launch momentum, this comprehensive documentation was shot prior to the official inauguration. The resulting images serve as a powerful branding, SEO, and marketing asset designed to attract high-value clients via social media. By balancing the authentic lighting with our styling interventions, the photographs elevated the setups to look incredibly luxurious—leaving the clients in disbelief that the images were of their own space.
